Polhemus Labs

Polhemus Labs is a company formed by Bill Polhemus after he was separated from Polhemus Navigational Sciences.[1]

The purpose of the venture was to improve display technology and pursue augmente reality applications, including an aid to navigation in poor weather.[1]

Head-mounted displayEdit

The company developed a head-mounted display (HMD). The HMD was a prototype fiber-optic HMD that could use a variety of image sources, such as a projector, workstation, or VCR.[2]

CompanyEdit

It is separate and distinct from Polhemus, the motion tracking company.[2]
