UWB tracking is a class of position tracking and PnO tracking methods that use ultra wide band (UWB) signal multilateration or AoA. Ultra-wide band (UWB) is radio technology that can be used for 3D tracking in the form of UWB tracking. It can have accuracy of about one centimeter. Companies that market UWB 3D tracking products include Ciholas and BifrostVR.[1]
UWB tracking can typically get about 1 centimeter of accuracy in position.
It is used by Apple's Find my iPhone feature.
Qorvo is a company that has made UWB tracking components.
UWB's frequency range is between 3.1Ghz and 10.6Ghz.[2]
