3Space InsideTrak is a 3D tracking system by Polhemus. It is a version of the Fastrak system that is meant to be installed inside a computer.[1]
It is part of the Virtuality SU2000 system.[2]
InsideTrak is compatible with MS-DOS.
InsideTrak cards use a 16-bit ISA bus connection.[3]
InsideTrak has an 8-position DIP switch on it for the ISA I/O address.

InsideTrak consists of the following components:
- System Electronics Board (SEB), an ISA card, part number 4A0327-01
- Transmitter, part number 3A0369-06
- Sensor, part number 4A0332
- Transmitter frequency module, part number 3A0417
- Software 3.5 floppy disk
The ISA card is 4.2 inches tall excluding the ISA bus connections, and 13.3 inches long.
Operation[edit]
InsideTRAK may be configured with any of eight discrete carrier frequencies to allow simultaneous operation of up to eight sensors in close proximity. These frequencies are 8013 Hz, 10016 Hz, 12019 Hz, 14022 Hz, 18027 Hz, 20032 Hz, 24039 Hz, and 26042 Hz.
