3Space Tracker, also simply called the Tracker, is an early electromagnetic tracking system sold by Polhemus.

It communicates with a computer using RS-232 or IEEE-488 connections.

Connection[edit]

The 3Space Tracker operates using command letters.

The letters are sent over the serial connection.

This is the same general process as used by all further Polhemus systems up to the Liberty, but some letters are not the same.[1]

Command letters: A, R, B, b, control-K, F, control-Y, P, C, c, U, u, control-S, control-Q, v, x, V, e, f, I, O, S, l, H, N, a, k, t.
