Barry George Blundell is a researcher in 3D displays.[1][2] He is a senior lecturer at the University of Derby.[3] He has a personal website at https://www.barrygblundell.com/.
He wrote that his research includes techniques which generate coincident image and interaction spaces, in other words, direct interaction in 3D space.[2]
He is a co-author of the Handbook of Visual Display Technology.[4]
Volumeric cathode ray display[edit]
He did volumetric cathode ray tube work.[5]
He did experiments in the 1990s that used a specially designed glass tube, a spinning phosphor plate and multiple electron guns.[5]
3D cinema in Russia[edit]
Barry Blundell did research into early 3D cinema in Russia in about 1941, which used radial raster.[6]
