Two-view describes a display that has two independent optical paths or sections, which at any instant reproduces two views, one for a left eye and one for a right eye.[1]

A common example is a binocular virtual reality headset that has two lenses, one for each eye.

Twoview solidview content uses binocular disparity to generate a 3D effect.

It is also known as bi-scopic, which comes from Latin bi- "twice, double," and Greek -skopion, from skopein "to look at, examine".
