DW3000
DW3000 is a family of UWB products from Qorvo. It is used for 3D tracking. It follows the DW1000 family.
Products[edit]
- DW3110 - WLCSP package, one antenna port[1]
- DW3120 - WLCSP package, two antenna ports[2][1][3]
- DW3210 - QFN package, one antenna port[1]
- DW3220 - QFN package, two antenna ports[4][1][5]
- DW3300Q[6][1]
DW3120[edit]
DW3120 is an ultrawideband chip from Qorvo.
It is FiRa compliant and supports the following techniques:
- Time Difference of Arrival (TDoA)
- Phase Difference of Arrival (PDoA)[7]
DWM3000[edit]
DWM3000 is an ultra wideband module from Qorvo.
It has an ultra wideband chip, a ceramic antenna, and supporting circuitry.[8]
It uses a DW3110 internally.
The supporting circuitry is resistors and capacitors. The components are tiny.
DWM3000EVB[edit]
DWM3000EVB is an ultrawideband evaluation board from Qorvo.
It has an arduino uno form factor.[9] It fits with a NUCLEO-F429ZI from ST microelectronics.
Earlily produced units are known as DWS3000.
DW3210[edit]
DW3210 is a UWB chip from Qorvo.[10] It can be used for 3D tracking.
Each chip has one antenna port. Two chips can be used in tandem to do AoA.[11]
- Ranging accuracy: under 10 centimeters[11]
