A deformable mirror display (DMD) is a type of spatial light modulator. It is made by Texas Instruments.

DMD is a MEMS. The DMD is made of an array of tiny mirrors that can individually be changed from one angle to another.

DMDs modulate light's amplitude.

The DMD is at the heart of TI's DLP line of products.
