DLP2000, a DMD from TI
A digital micromirror display (DMD) is a type of display switching element made by Texas Instruments.
The DMD is made of an array of tiny mirrors that can individually be changed from one angle to another.
DMDs modulate light's amplitude. It can be classified as a spatial light modulator.
The DMD is at the heart of TI's DLP line of products.
Manufacturing[edit]
Texas Instruments has manufactured DMDs at its DMOS5 facility in Dallas, Texas.
