Forte Technologies was a virtual reality headset company.

Forte was founded by Paul Travers.[1][2]

After releasing the VFX1, Forte was renamed to Interactive Imaging Systems (IIS).[3] IIS was then renamed to Icuiti. Icuiti was renamed to Vuzix.

Forte's assets were ultimately merged into Vuzix.
