Headset sizing refers to the measurements of a head-mounted display mostly in terms of interpupillary distance (IPD) in order to achieve optical comfort. Other factors include head shape.

Examples[edit]

  • Magic Leap 1, which came in 2 IPD sizes, and included various forehead and nose pads
  • Bigscreen Beyond, which uses a custom 3D-scanned face gasket but internally adjustable IPD
  • Apple Vision Pro, which has many standardized sizes of Light Seal, but uses an internally adjustable IPD
