IPD adjustment refers to the ability of head-mounted displays to change the interpupillary distance (IPD) of the display.

- The Valve Index has an IPD adjustment wheel to change the physical location of the displays and lenses on a track inside the headset.
- The Z800 3DVisor has notches so that the user can adjust the IPD in a limited number of positions.
