John Underkoffler is an inventor of human-computer interaction who has developed large-screen 3D computer interaction systems.
He founded and was formerly CEO of Oblong Industries, which made products that incorporate camera-based 3D tracking using infrared markers.[1] As of 2020 he left Oblong Industries.[2]
All of his HCI work is entirely dependent on 3D tracking.
He created the concepts for the sci-fi interfaces in Iron Man and Minority Report.[3]
