MicroOptical is a company that advertised head-mounted displays.[1][2]
Its website was at microopticalcorp.com.
It was founded by Mark Spitzer, who later became a director at the Google X lab, which developed Google Glass.[3]
Dissolution[edit]
MicroOptical's patents ended up being acquired by Google.[4]
MyVu as a corporation dissolved in 2010, and its patents were sold to Foxconn. In 2013, Google acquired several of the MyVu patents from Foxconn, who entered in contract with Google to manufacture the Google Glass in Santa Clara, California.[5]
