A monoscopic head-mounted display, also known as a zograscopic head-mounted display or 2D head-mounted display is a type of head-mounted display (HMD) that uses one display that both eyes see.

The display is centered.

It can be used with a 3D tracking system for 3D electronic interaction.

It may also be called a zograscopic HMD because it is like a zograscope.

The first one was the Headsight in about 1961.
