Northern Digital Incorporated (NDI) is a Canadian company that makes 3D tracking systems, specializing in electromagnetic 3D tracking.

It is a subsidiary of Roper Technologies.[1]

Its website is ndigital.com.

NDI and Ascension were two businesses that were merged by their parent company, Roper Industries.

Medical device companies such as Medtronic use NDI products in their surgical systems, which they then sell to hospitals.[2]

History[edit]

NDI was acquired by Audax Private Equity circa 2008. At the time, David Crouch was NDI's President and CEO.[3] NDI was auctioned and Audax won the bid.[2] After Audax bought the company, it moved all manufacturing to low-cost centers in Mexico.[2]
