Private Eye is a monoscopic head-mounted display created by Reflection Technology in about 1989.

It produces about a 22 degree horizontal by 14 degree vertical field of view image with a resolution of 720x280. It generates its image by focusing 280 LEDs onto a vibrating mirror that scans out left-to-right 720 columns of each frame of a video input.
