A reflector, in the context of head-mounted displays, is a near-eye optical component that is used to reflect light from a an image source, like an OLED panel, to the user's eye. It is used in Project North Star and other AR headsets.
A reflector can be used in the design of a headset that is agnostic to display source. For example, one reflector design could be used for either flat focus, lightfield, or holographic display sources.
