Rony Abovitz

Rony Abovitz is the founder of Magic Leap, and was previously CEO. He provided a vision and drive at Magic Leap for embracing augmented reality technology.[1]

He is an appreciator of Douglas Engelbart, who invented the computer mouse.

Rony Abovitz got started in Mako Surgical, then pivoted to augmented reality through Enravel, which was adjacent to pivoting fiber optic endoscopes.
