Sixense TrueMotion

Sixense TrueMotion was a pre-production 3D tracking system created by Sixense. It was eventually integrated into the Razer Hydra.

It uses a magnetic field to track hands position in 3D space.[1]

Truemotion utilizes Analog Devices' floating point SHARC processor and converter technology; it is the world's first true 1 to 1, six degree of freedom game controller.[2]
