Telepresence

Telepresence is the idea of two people feeling as if they are present in each other's space through the means of virtual reality or augmented reality technology.

It was also called tele-immersion. It was said to enable users at geographically distributed sites to collaborate in real time in a shared, simulated environment as if they were in the same physical room.
