Tron is a movie that was partly rendered using early 3D computer graphics systems, including from Evans & Sutherland.
Four separate companies produced computer graphics for the movie: MAGI (SynthaVision), Information International (Triple-I), Robert Abel and Associates, and Digital Effects Inc.[1] MAGI and Triple-I did the majority of the screen time.
Triple-I used the Foonly F1 computer.
Robert Abel and Associates used an Evans & Sutherland Picture System 2.
