UploadVR is a website that focuses on VR and AR news.
It runs news stories on hardware and software.
The company was founded as UploadVR in 2014 by Taylor Freeman, Will Mason, and Nick St. Pierre as a coworking company based in San Francisco. It later expanded to organize events, provide business incubation, and operate the UploadVR website.[1] Taylor Freeman was CEO of Upload, Inc.[2]
The UploadVR team includes Ian Hamilton and David Heaney, and had included Joe Durbin.
It is run by UVR Media, a legal entity.
Palmer Luckey helped with the funding of UploadVR at one point.[3]
