The Virtual Research FS5 is a head-mounted display created by Virtual Research.[1]

It was available in the 1990s.

It has a binocular optical system.

It has between a 55 and 76 degree field of view.[1]

It is a color system that generates color by having color shutters in front of two monochrome cathode ray tubes.[1]

It has a flat focus.

It was introduced at Siggraph 1995.[2]
