I-O Display Systems (First known as Virtual i·O) was a company that made display headsets under the i-glasses brand.[1][2]
Its address was 1000 Lenora Street, Suite 600, Seattle, WA.
One of the i-glasses display two color video images with a resolution of 640x480 each.[2]
IO Display Systems also produced the i-Glasses HRV.[3]

Virtual I/O was founded by Greg Amadon in Seattle in May 1993.[6][7]
History[edit]
During the first quarter of 1995, the company launched its first product, Virtual i-glasses!, for the dental market. The small, lightweight product lets dental patients watch TV and video programming.[7]
In the spring of 1995, Virtual i-O introduced its first product for the consumer market, called Virtual i-glasses! for the PC, which has a build in 3D head rotation tracker.
In March 1996, Virtual i-O expanded its consumer products line by introducing two new products: Virtual i-glasses! VPC and Virtual i-glasses! VTV (for "Virtual PC" and "Virtual TV"), which provide the featured capabilities of the original PC model at a lower price.
