The Virtuality 1000 series is a family of virtual reality gaming systems from Virtuality.
It includes:
- Virtuality 1000SU: The SU in the name stands for "stand up" or "standing up".
- Virtuality 1000SD
- Virtuality 1000CS[1]
The 1000CS and 1000SD use an Amiga 3000 with a Motorola 68030 and 4 MB of RAM and a pair of graphics accelerators (one for each eye). The accelerators are based around the Texas Instruments TMS34020 chips and have a TMS34082 floating point co-processor. Each of the TI accelerator cards delivers about 40 Mflops with a capability to render 30,000 polygons/s at 20FPS.
