Volumetric LED display

An volumetric LED display is a kind of volumetric display that has a three-dimensional grid of LEDs.

The top technology Instructable of all time is an LED cube.[1]

LED cubes are generally additive, meaning the light from the LEDs is summed along each ray through the cube.
